Inspired by the magnificent 1910 Colonnade Imperial Egg, this elegant design reflects one of the most symbolic creations presented by Tsar Nicholas II to Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna for Easter 1910. The original masterpiece, designed by Henrik Wigström under Peter Carl Fabergé, celebrated the unity of the Imperial family and the long awaited birth of Tsarevich Alexei. Created in refined Neoclassical style, it featured pink guilloché enamel, pale green columns, and a rotating clock dial supplied by Henry Moser & Cie.
Rich in symbolism, the historic egg was crowned with a cupid representing the young heir, surrounded by four cherubs symbolizing the daughters, while two doves within the colonnade represented the Emperor and Empress. Later confiscated after the Revolution and acquired for the Royal Collection in 1933, it remains preserved in London today. Echoing that grand architectural design, this beautifully detailed interpretation features elegant columns, sculptural figures, luminous enamel accents, and a functioning music box that plays "For Elise." The hinged egg opens smoothly and secures with a magnetic closure, creating a striking centerpiece that blends historic inspiration, artistry, and timeless decorative charm.
